V3: Analytics -- How to find and generate your Logs and Reports

Get information about the text and voice messages in and out.

***NOTE: We cannot track read, opened, viewed, etc. The carriers only send back delivered or undelivered messages to us.

HOW TO FIND THIS PAGE

After logging in to PastorsLine...

Step 1: Click on Analytics.

Step 2: Click on Logs.

Step 3: Click on V2 (Legacy).

HOW TO WORK WITH THIS PAGE

NOTE: If you are an experienced PastorsLine partner, these pages should look familiar. This is because they are embedded pages brought over from the PastorsLine Legacy app. So, you work with them in the same way you have been working with them in the past.


LOGS

Turquoise 1 in image above

Click on the downward arrow to open up the Report menu. Choose from the following:

  • SMS Inbox (Single)—any incoming msgs sent by individuals to your PastorsLine number(s).

  • SMS Outbox (Single)—msgs sent from your PastorsLine number(s) to individuals.

  • SMS Outbox (Group)—msgs sent from your PastorsLine number(s) to groups.

  • Voice Outbox (Group)—voice broadcasts sent from your PastorsLine number(s) to groups.

  • Voice Outbox (Single)—phone calls made from your PastorsLine number(s) to individuals.

  • Voice Inbox (Single)—any incoming phone calls made by individuals to your PastorsLine number(s).

  • Credits—a running list of your credits which are used or added each month. (To be improved as we go on.)

  • Undelivered—any messages that were not able to be delivered.

  • Insufficient credits—any messages that could not be sent due to a lack of credits.

Click on the downward arrow to filter by user or phone number.

Set the date parameters of the report.

Click on Show to generate your report. Your report will populate just below the taskbar.

Click on Reset to clear all your setting in preparation for your next log.

Click on Export to generate a .csv file which will be automatically saved to your computer.

Click on the downward arrow to open up the Number of Lines menu. Choose the number of lines (items) you wish to show per website page.

ACTIONS


1. Graph icon: Viewing the statistics of a particular message


After filtering your logs (above), click on the Graph icon of the message for which you want to see statistics.

The Sent Statistics page will open.

Recipients

As you can see, the above message was scheduled to be sent to 2 people. It was sent successfully to 2 people.

In the image below, the message was scheduled to be sent to 1 person. It was sent and that person opted out AFTER the message was sent. If they were opted out / unsubscribed before the message was sent, it will show under the "unsubscribers" category.

Statistics tabs

A little lower on the page, you will find three tabs: Final, Reprocessed, Original.

Original

These are the statistics from the first time your group message was sent.

Reprocessed

These numbers show any additional improvement. For example, if your message was flagged due to carrier filtering, and we reprocessed those messages using either our short code or toll free number, you would see those stats in this tab.

Final

Here you see the end result of sending this group message.

If you refresh the statistics, the numbers will be updated as relevant in these tabs and in the group message lines further down the page.


2. Circular arrow icon: Refresh the statistics

To make sure your stats are the latest, click on this icon.


3. Eye icon: View the log

To view the log report, click on this icon.


4. Phone icon: Audio file

Opens the audio file of the phone message which was left.


REPORTS

Set the date parameters of the report.

Click on the downward arrow to open up the Report menu. Choose from the following to show information according to your date parameters (1a & 1b above):

  • SMS Logs—text messages sent/received for all numbers in your PastorsLine account.

  • Subscribers—people who opted in.

  • Unsubscribers—people who opted out.

  • Keywords—people who opted in via keywords.

Click on Search to look for records.

Click on the downward arrow to open up the Number of Lines menu. Choose the number of lines (items) you wish to show per website page.
