This feature DOES NOT apply to:

  • landlines

  • verified phone numbers (a phone number that you only use for outgoing calls)

  • PastorsLine shared short code

  • Pastorsline shared toll-free number

When enabled, this feature notifies you of an incoming call while you are within the PastorsLine app. The incoming call will ring in the app.

What does it look like?

The default setting is this pop-up.

When you accept the call, you can minimize the screen (blue box in image to the left). This allows you to navigate around PastorsLine while still on the call.

For example: Your caller would like you to add them to a group. While still on the call, you can do that.

How does it work?

If Call In-App is enabled and Call Forwarding is enabled as well, then the incoming call will ring in the app first for 15 seconds. Then the call will be forwarded to the number entered in Call Forwarding.

What happens when a call is declined or not answered?

When call forwarding is enabled, if the person to whom the call is forwarded declines the call on their device, the call goes to their personal voicemail. If you want the call to go to the PastorsLine voicemail, just let it ring.

What about the greeting I have set up?

You can toggle off Enable Call Popup.

If you do, in-app incoming call notifications will look like the image below - a banner at the top of your screen.

Note the controls at the right-hand side of the banner.
You can increase the notification to the pop-up by clicking on the white 'picture frame'.
You can accept / decline the call using the green and red buttons.
