Greetings are recorded messages that your caller will hear when calling your phone.

Greetings are recorded messages that your caller will hear when calling your phone. For example: 'Thank you for calling. Please wait while we connect you.'

HOW TO FIND THIS PAGE

(1) While in PastorsLine, click on Settings.

(2) Click on Greetings/VM.

(1) Click on Greetings.

Details will display in the space to the right of the black sections (image below).

HOW TO WORK WITH THIS PAGE

TO EDIT AN EXISTING RECORDING

Click on any of the areas above the gold arrows in above image. The following box will pop up:

1: Click on Re-record to update your greeting. See more details below.

2: Toggle off to unpublish (make a draft) with the option of assigning a new greeting. See more details below.

3: Update the phone numbers assigned to this greeting. See more details below.

4: Remove this greeting. See more details below

#1: Re-record

After you click on Re-record, the following box will pop up:

"Next" depends on the recording method you choose. Here are the screens you will see:

Web Record

Mobile Record

Upload MP3

Text-to-Voice

Record your greeting and then click on Next to continue.

#2: Status (Publish)

The confirmation pop up below will appear. Click on Unpublish to remove this greeting from use but save it for the future. Click on Unpublish and Assign a New Greeting to substitute a different greeting for this one. NOTE: To do that, you must have a least 1 other greeting to choose from. If not, you will need to Add new greeting (see further down for instructions).

#3: Numbers assigned

The pop up below will appear. Make changes as needed. Then click Confirm to update.

#4: Delete

The confirmation pop up below will appear. Click on Delete to erase this greeting. Click on Delete and Assign a New Greeting to substitute a different greeting for this one. NOTE: To do that, you must have a least 1 other greeting to choose from. If not, you will need to Add new greeting (see further down for instructions).


TO ADD A NEW GREETING

Click on Add new greeting (brown arrow above).

The following box will pop up:
