General settings for your PastorsLine account.

HOW TO FIND THIS PAGE

Step 1

Log in to PastorsLine and go to your Dashboard.

Step 2

From your thumbnail (gold #2 in image below)

Step 3

Click on Settings (turquoise #3 in image above).

Step 2

From MORE (3 dots, gold #2 in image below).

Step 3

Click on Settings (turquoise #3 in image above).

Step 4

The screen will refresh. Click on App Settings.

Step 5

The dropdown menu will open. Click on General.

Step 6

A further dropdown menu will open. Click on the category for which you want to edit the settings.

Let's look at each option in more detail.


MESSAGES

Turquoise numbers in image above

1: Some numbers (landlines, misformatted numbers, etc.) cannot receive test messages. Texts sent to such numbers will cost you credits and be undelivered. To avoid both, toggle on this option to check the numbers of undelivered messages.

4: Hover to reveal the Edit. Click on Edit.

Choose your option from the dropdown menu and then click Save.

2: Toggle this option on to see a preview of your 5 latest unread message threads. This will display when you hover over Messages (speech bubble icon, left-hand most column).

3: Every time you go to Messages view, which messages category (All, Favorites, Unread, etc.) should you be directed to? Click on the downward arrow, and choose from the dropdown menu.


VOICE

1: Every time you go to Voice view, which voice category (All, Favorites, Voicemail, Missed, etc.) should you be directed to? Click on the downward arrow, and choose from the dropdown menu.

2: Toggle this button on or off.

3: In which language or accent should your voicemail message speak? Click on the downward arrow, and choose from the dropdown menu.


PEOPLE

Default Sorting: Every time you go to People view, how should your people be sorted? Click on the downward arrow to choose your sort default from the dropdown menu. You can always choose a new sort in the People view itself.

Default Page: Every time you go to People view, which people category should you be directed to first? Click on the downward arrow, and choose from the dropdown menu. You can always choose another category in the People view itself.

Click on the sub-category downward arrow to further expand your choices.

Default View: Every time you go to People view, how should your people information be displayed? Click on the downward arrow, and choose from the dropdown menu. You can always choose the other view in the People view itself.

Column View: You will see a third, black column showing all the people in the default category you selected above or the new category you select in the view itself. Click on the name for whom you wish to see more information.

​Table View: You will see information for all the people in the default category you selected above or the new category you select in the view itself.


GROUPS

1 - Default sorting: Click on the downward menu to sort your people listings.

2 - Default Page: Every time you go to Groups view, which group category should you be directed to first? Click on the downward arrow, and choose from the dropdown menu. You can always choose another category in the Groups view itself.

Click on the sub-category downward arrow to further expand your choices.

Display

There are three items here: Dark / Light Mode, App Behavior, & Mobile Display.

Dark / Light Mode

The default setting is 'Light' mode.

Click on the downward arrow to open the dropdown menu.

Click on the mode you wish to use.

Your choice will be saved automatically.

Below is an idea of how each one looks

App Behavior

There are two options: Expanded Mode and Minimal Mode.

You can also choose to auto-close the left menu panel on your first click. Just toggle on the button. It will turn purple. (see image below).

Mobile Display

Choosing mobile mode will help make the screen more responsive in screen resolutions with a width of less than 992 px.
