Here is the entire page --- closer look in a minute...

Step 5

Click on Verify Your Landline Number (SMS/Text) - turquoise arrow in image above.

Step 6

Click on the purple Next button (gold arrow in image above).

THE VERIFICATION PROCESS

Step 1

Complete the form (see image below). Then click Next step.

Step 2

DEFINITION: LOA

An LOA is a letter of authorization that allows us through our vendor (Twilio) to get approval to enable texting on your landline, toll-free or VoIP number you already own. It's one of the steps in the process, as discussed below.

Signing this LOA does authorize us to change your SMS carrier (NOT your calling carrier) to our vendor. This is NOT permanent or a transfer of ownership and can be changed anytime in the future.

Complete the form (see image below). Our vendor will use the information you submitted to generate an LOA. They will send this to you for electronic signature.

After completing, click on Next step.

Step 3

You will receive an email with a link to sign the LOA electronically. Check your email inbox (and spam folder if you do not see it right away).

Click on the "Review & sign" button in that email (shown below):

The first page of the LOA is shown below.

Once this is electronically signed, the transfer process will begin.

Step 4

After you have reviewed and signed that document electronically, you will receive another email to let you know that your request has been received. It usually takes 1-3 business days for the number to become active and ready for you to use. (Remember to check your spam folder in case you don't see it.)

NOTE: *Signing this LOA does authorize us to change your SMS carrier (NOT your calling carrier) to our vendor. This is NOT permanent, or a transfer of ownership, and it can be changed at anytime in the future.

Record any issues discovered and send a message to us via chat or email [email protected].
