***You will need to be an owner or admin to do this.***

Step 1

Log in to PastorsLine.

Step 2

Click on your thumbnail image / icon / initials in the bottom, left-hand corner of your screen (gold #2 in image to the left).

Step 3

Click on Numbers (Admin) (turquoise box and #3 in image to the left).

The Settings / Admin Settings / Numbers page will open.

Here is the entire page --- closer look in a minute...

Step 4

Click on the purple Add new number button in the top, right-hand corner of the Numbers page (see image above). The Verify Your Number box will pop up.

Step 5

Click on Verify Your Landline Number (SMS/Text) - turquoise arrow in image above.

Step 6

Click on the purple Next button (gold arrow in image above).

Step 1

Complete the form (see image below). Then click Next step.

Step 2

An LOA is a letter of authorization that allows us through our vendor (Twilio) to get approval to enable texting on your landline, toll-free or VoIP number you already own. It's one of the steps in the process, as discussed below.

Signing this LOA does authorize us to change your SMS carrier (NOT your calling carrier) to our vendor. This is NOT permanent or a transfer of ownership and can be changed anytime in the future.

Complete the form (see image below). Our vendor will use the information you submitted to generate an LOA. They will send this to you for electronic signature.

After completing, click on Next step.

Step 3

You will receive an email with a link to sign the LOA electronically. Check your email inbox (and spam folder if you do not see it right away).

Click on the "Review & sign" button in that email (shown below):

The first page of the LOA is shown below.

Once this is electronically signed, the transfer process will begin.

Step 4

After you have reviewed and signed that document electronically, you will receive another email to let you know that your request has been received. It usually takes 1-3 business days for the number to become active and ready for you to use. (Remember to check your spam folder in case you don't see it.)

NOTE: *Signing this LOA does authorize us to change your SMS carrier (NOT your calling carrier) to our vendor. This is NOT permanent, or a transfer of ownership, and it can be changed at anytime in the future.

Record any issues discovered and send a message to us via chat or email [email protected].

Situation: You were in the middle of setting up your landline when you got taken away. You want to continue the process.

Here's how...

Step 1: On your numbers page, find the number you wish to continue hosting. Hover at the right end of the number line to reveal the Edit.

Step 2: Click on the Edit. The number detail box will pop up.

Step 3: Scroll down to Status. Click on Check Status.

This will take you to whatever step listed above that you left off on.
