Let's say you are in the HUB. You want to send a group message, but before you do, you want to add someone to that group. Here's how to do that.

Step 1: Click on the "+ Members" plus sign under the group's members details on the right of the screen:

Step 2: This screen will pop up.

Step 3: Search for the person's name or number to add to the group. *If no name or number is found, and the person you are adding to the group is also new to your database, PastorsLine will add that phone number to the group and create a "shell" contact you can edit later. Directions on how to edit that contact later is at the bottom of this article.

Step 4: Once found, click on the contact and you will see they will be moved to the right side of the screen. Once you have added all of the people you want to add for now, click "Done":

Step 5: Now that person has been added to the group! You can see all of your members under the "members" tab on the right side of the screen:

In the case that this person is NEW to the system...

The process is the same above, but if no name or number is found, and the person you are adding to the group is new to your database, PastorsLine will add that phone number to the group and create a "shell" contact you can edit later. This is what that process looks like:

Click on the number of the contact you are adding, and you will see they will be moved to the right side of the screen. Once you have added all of the people you want to add for now, click "Done"

Under the group's "Members" tab, you can view all of the group's members and can click on their number in order to edit their contact information.

This changes the screen to the contact's profile where you can make any changes, add name, email, address, etc.

Once you edit the fields, don't forget to click "Save" to save this new info:
