Currently, only owners can edit these settings and they apply to all users on the account.

Here is the entire Organization Settings Page.

Don't worry... we are going to do some close-ups soon. We just wanted to give you a feel for the whole page.

Your organization's name and country

The signature settings on messages that we reprocess due to carrier filtering

The signature settings for group and campaign messages that you choose to send from the short code.

The signature settings for group and campaign messages that you choose to send from the high throughput number.

Part 1: Name and country

Organization Name: This is the Full Name of your organization. This information is seen by all users on the account.

Short Organization Name: This field will allow up to 24 letters. This short name will be part of the unique signature created when reprocessing (resending) failed messages via a short code in cases of filtering by the mobile carriers. Read more about this here.

Default Country: Choose from the dropdown menu if different than the default which is the United States.

Part 2: Resending failed messages due to carrier violations

In this section, you decide what happens to failed messages. You can turn this part off.

US PHONE NUMBERS

Currently, there are 3 options: reprocessing (resending) via the PastorsLine short code, reprocessing via a toll-free number, and do not reprocess.

If you turn it on, using a Short Code is recommended.

NON-US PHONE NUMBERS

Currently, there are 2 options: reprocessing (resending) via a toll-free number, and do not reprocess.

The PastorsLine Short Code only works in the US.

If you try to choose the short code, you will get the following reminder:

Click on OK to continue and choose a valid option.

WHERE ARE THE OPTIONS?

Your options are accessed by clicking on the downward arrow (brown box in image below). The choice you make will affect the signature format box below that.

Example with US Phone Number: Choosing the short code (recommended)

We already clicked on the downward arrow (brown box above). The box below popped up.

Step 1: Click again on the downward arrow (image above) to reveal the dropdown menu with your 3 options.

Step 2: Choose the short code option.

Step 3: Click on SUBMIT to save your choice.

Step 4: A confirmation box will pop up. Click OK to confirm your update.

Step 5: The screen will refresh. Note that now your choice and the signature format description BOTH reflect the short code (brown box + lines in image below).

Step 6: Decide on the signature placement. By default, the signature will be at the end of the message and the Show signature at beginning button will be toggled off (greyed out, gold box in image above). Toggle it on (button will turn purple) to move signature to the start of the message.

Step 7: Edit the message which appears in the signature format box. This is the signature that will be automatically appended to your message when we need to reprocess your undelivered messages due to carrier filtering. Merge fields to use:
STOP to Opt Out (REQUIRED)
[User Short Name] AND/OR [Org Short Name]

NOTE: As in he blue box + line in the image above, you are REQUIRED to have STOP to Opt Out AND at least one of the other options, [User Short Name] and/or [Org Short Name]. The order of these is up to you.

Step 8: Click on Preview (blue arrow below) to see how your signature will look.

The following box will pop up. Select the User you would like to see as an example of this signature.

If you chose the toll-free number...

Note that now your choice and the signature format description BOTH reflect the toll-free number (brown box + lines in image below).

Decide on signature placement (see Step 6 in short code example above). In this case, the button has been toggled on (gold arrow above) so the signature will appear at the start of the message.

Now, edit the message which appears in the signature format box (see Step 7 in short code example above). As the blue line in the image above reminds, you are also REQUIRED to have STOP to Opt Out AND at least one of the other options, [User Short Name] and/or [Org Short Name]. The order of these is up to you.

Use Preview to see what your message looks like (see Step 8 in short code example above).

If you chose NO...

Your choice is reflected. The signature format box is hidden as it is not relevant.

You are using a data capture with a short code keyword. How often do you want to give your contacts the option to opt out of this campaign?

Your contacts will see the "stop to opt out" after every message. For example, after the data capture asks for their first name, again after the data capture asks for their email, etc.

Toggle is on (colored purple as in turquoise box above):

Your contacts will see the "stop to opt out" after the last message ONLY.

Part 4: Using the High Throughput Number to send group and campaign messages (You will only see this option if you have purchased your own High Throughput Number).

#1 - Brown box below: Edit the message which appears in the signature format box. This is the signature that will be automatically appended to your message when we send your group and campaign texts via the high throughput number. Merge fields to use:
