Currently, when you set up an AMC and names are added to that campaign, we set all the messages immediately. Hence, if you go back into that AMC and edit the sequences, some of those changes would only impact people after after you save it.

Here are some things to know:

It is always best to finalize your campaign before you start adding anyone into it, but if you cannot, or you do need to make some changes, please note the following information on what will and will not update when you make these changes.

As of 2024.02.11...

  1. Editing the message's content (the text box) will apply to everyone who is currently active in that campaign.

  2. You can DELETE (trash can icon, yellow box in image below)or TOGGLE OFF (blue box in image below) any messages in the AMC and those messages will also be deleted for everyone who is currently active in that campaign and has NOT reached that step yet.

Example: I delete/toggle off message 2. Anyone on message 1 will not receive that message 2. Anyone on message 3 will already have received it because that happened before my deletion/toggle off.

  3. Any dates or times changed in the AMC messages will update for everyone who is currently active in that campaign and has NOT reached that step yet.

  4. Any new messages added to the campaign will update for currently active people in the campaign and has NOT reached that step yet.

Of course...Your changes will reflect correctly for anyone added after your campaign is ready and finalized.

Please note: It may take several minutes for your AMC to be updated. The update time length depends on how many people are in your campaign.

This notification will leave once the update is complete.

What if you just wanted to edit it for just one person?

Step 1: Go to that person's message tab / history.

Step 2: Copy the scheduled AMC message that you want to edit

Step 3: Click on the message to show more options.

Step 4: Choose "Delete" to delete the scheduled AMC message.

Step 5: Paste the copied AMC message in the text box, make any edits you would like, then schedule your new message for whatever date / time it needs to go out on.

This new scheduled message will now take the place of the deleted AMC message for that person.

Click HERE for the article that will walk you through this.

What if you see the following notification?

You are in the People tab of the campaign. You see the following:

This means that some changes you have made are not accurately reflected in the people details. Just click on the purple click here to refresh the page.

Editing my AMC from the Messages View

Let's say you are in the Messages View. You are looking at an AMC Scheduled Message FOR A PARTICULAR PERSON. You will see three options below: Send Now, Edit, Delete. Here is what would happen:

  • Send Now: Sends the message and manually moves this person and this person only to the next step of the AMC (if there is one).

  • Edit: Selecting this option will take you to the AMC where you can make edits. Any edits you make will affect everyone in your AMC according to the rules we discussed above.

  • Delete: Deletes that particular message for this person and this person only and moves them on to the next step of the AMC (if there is one).
