Removing a phone number from your PastorsLine account is simple BUT there are some conditions. Let's go through them.
Condition 1: Is this phone number assigned to the owner of the account (if you are unsure, check this on the "Users" Page)? if you are not the owner, you will be unable to delete the number if this number is also assigned to the owner of the account .
Condition 2: Is the number currently marked as your primary number? If so, you will be unable to delete it until you update this setting.
How do you know if it is your primary number?
It will have a crown icon (brown box below) to the left of the number.
Can you delete a primary number?
Yes, but first, you will need to make a different number your primary number. Here is a walkthrough of how to do this: https://help.pastorsline.com/en/articles/3609302-switching-my-primary-default-number. Remember: You will need to be the owner of the numbers you are working with.
OK...
You are the owner of the number you are trying to delete AND it is not your primary PastorsLine number.
Now, you should be able to delete it.
Step 1: Go to the numbers page.
To get to the numbers page, click on your name in the top right corner
Step 2: Select Numbers from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: Click the "x" icon next to the number you wish to delete (red box below).
Step 4: You will then be asked to type the word RELEASE to verify that this is what you want to do.
Step 5: Owners and Admins will also receive an email letting them know which user has released this number from the account.
If this action was done in error, we can reinstate the phone number but we would need to act quickly or another person might pick it up before we can get it back for you.
