One way you can integrate with your PCO lists is with a one-way IN integration. This means based on your PCO list rules, the results of that search will update your group in PL. Anyone added to the PL group will NOT be added to the PCO list. This article will walk you through setting this up.

NOTE: Before you begin...Who set up your API?

Did the person who initially set up your API connection have access to the workflow(s), list(s), etc. which you are accessing? If not, the things you are trying to do may not work. Please take a moment to check this.

Just before we begin...

Are you looking to sync so you can send a message?

We recommend our Browser Extension - designed to allow you to send group texts from within Planning Center. You create the message -- We do all the necessary syncing in the background.

BEST WAY TO SYNC MULTIPLE GROUPS AT A TIME: Sync new or existing via the Integrations page

SYNC A NEW GROUP: Unsynced groups in external apps

You may have some groups that are in the external app(s) that you have integrated but have not yet been synced to PastorsLine. To sync them:

1. Click on Groups

2. Click on All Groups

The All Groups page will open.

3. Click on the Groups in External Apps tab (blue box in image above).

4. Click on Sync Now to sync your external groups (yellow arrow in image above).
5. The following form will pop up. Complete it and click SAVE to confirm your action.

BEST WAY TO SYNC MULTIPLE GROUPS AT A TIME: Sync new or existing via the Integrations page

This is best way to sync multiple groups at a time.

While logged in to PastorsLine...

Step 1: Click on Integrations (left-hand most column, blue #1 in image to the left).

Step 2: Choose Manage My Integrations (blue #2 in image to the left).

Step 3: The Integrations page will open up, showing all your current integrations.

Step 4: Click on the "Select list(s) to sync" option under PCO and a list of your PCO lists will appear.

You can also search for the list you wish to bring over in the top right corner of the screen.

If you do not see your list listed, or if you just recently created this people list in PCO, it may not show up in this list automatically. Click any of these "refresh" options to quickly refresh the list to include any new groups.

Step 5: Toggle on the list(s) you want to sync and bring over as new groups in PastorsLine. These groups will come over as a one-way integration. Anyone you add to the list in PCO will also be added to the group in PastorsLine. If you want this to be a two-way integration, and be able to add people to the group in pastorsLine and also have them added to that people list in PCO, follow the instructions HERE.

*NOTE: Removing participants works differently. Removing someone from the PastorsLine group will not remove them from the list in PCO. BUT removing someone from the list in PCO will remove them from the group in PastorsLine as well. We wanted to make sure people were not accidentally removed from groups so the PCO People List is the "control".

Step 6: After selecting all the lists you wish to sync, click on ‘Sync lists’ (one is located at the bottom, right-hand corner and one near the top right corner. Either one will work).

Step 7: The box will close and the syncing will begin. In most cases. this takes 15-30 minutes (but sometimes much sooner) to appear in your groups page. You should also received an email confirmation once that group has been synced (owners and admins will received this email).
