Let's pretend "Bob" is your new guest / church member / recipient that is texting into your number.
Do you want Bob to text a keyword to your number and get ONE simple response back? No name, email, or DOB capture. Just ONE automated response.

Do you want Bob to text a keyword to your number and do you want to capture their name, email address and/or DOB?
If yes, then you need to create a Data Capture. Find out how to
do that HERE.
Do you want Bob to receive a series of pre-determined, scheduled messages?
If yes, then you would need to use a Automated Message campaign. Find out how to create one of those HERE. If you need help choosing which trigger to use, read on below. You can use 1, 2, or all 3 triggers in your campaign.
Do you want Bob to text a keyword to your number and receive a series of pre-determined, scheduled messages?
If yes, then you need to use a Automated Message Campaign using the KEYWORD trigger option. Check out how to do this HERE. *please note that if you ONLY use this trigger, Bob and anyone else who texts in, will not be entered into a group in PastorsLine.
Do you want to manually (or by using over night syncing) add Bob to a group and receive a series of pre-determined, scheduled messages?
If yes, then you need to use a Automated Message Campaign using the GROUP trigger option. Check out how to do this HERE.
Do you want to capture Bob's name, email and/or DOB and THEN receive a series of pre-determined, scheduled messages? if yes, you need to create a Data Capture LINKED to a Automated Message Campaign (AMC). You can either set up the trigger to be the DATA CAPTURE of your choice in the AMC OR you can select the AMC you wish to use while editing the Data capture. Find out how to do this HERE.
