Some Canadian carriers continue to treat Toll-Free SMS the same as normal 10 digit long code traffic ; there are no special filtering provisions. As of November 2020, the Rogers, Fido, Telus, and Videotron networks have begun treating Toll-Free SMS as an A2P channel, with reduced filtering. The remaining Canadian carriers continue to treat Toll-Free SMS the same as normal long code traffic; there are no special filtering provisions.
